Design Solution
Shield Structure The foundation is a strong, symmetrical shield that follows classic football emblem conventions while maintaining modern simplicity. The proportions are carefully balanced to ensure legibility at any size.
Castle Symbol The upper two-thirds showcase a minimalist interpretation of Burgos' historic castle. Three clean, geometric towers rise in silhouette, immediately identifying the club's geographic roots. The simplified forms ensure clarity when scaled down for jersey applications.
River Element A flowing burgundy wave represents the Arlanzón River, adding movement and visual interest to the lower third. This dynamic element contrasts beautifully with the solid architecture above.
Heraldic Lion Subtle gold linework creates a majestic lion crest behind the shield, adding depth and prestige without overwhelming the primary elements. This nod to Spanish heraldic tradition elevates the emblem's sophistication.
Typography The "BURGOS CF" wordmark uses a custom bold sans-serif font, providing maximum impact and readability. The letterforms are strong and athletic, perfectly suited for sports branding.
